FAQ

Q: What goes on at a MiniClinic? A: The sessions begin at 9:00 A.M. and continue until 5:00 P.M. There's a lot of information and it is a very full day, but we have fun too. It's a very supportive situation, and many lasting relationships have been forged at our events. Each attendee will perform their songs and receive instruction from Renee as well as have the opportunity to learn by observing the other attendees as she works with them.

Q: Why would I want to attend a MiniClinic?
A: What you get in a group situation like this that you won't get in a one-on-one lesson is the opportunity to see immediate results in other singers. You will receive information that you are not likely to encounter in a typical voice lesson. It is also an extremely cost-effective way to be introduced to, or brush up on, Renee's unique techniques.

"This was an exceptional experience for me...I learned more specific ways to communicate to the audience." —Joey Martin (Giantslayer)

Q: What will be covered in the MiniClinics?
A: Unlike past Master Classes which involved basic technique as well as a main topic of value to a singer's career, the MiniClinics will be tailored to the individual needs of each of the six attendees. It's like a seven hour voice lesson where each attendee will have their time in the spotlight as well as time to simply learn through watching and listening to the other attendees as Renee works with them. She feels that, "Often a singer doesn't realize how to fix a problem until they see or hear it corrected with another singer, that’s hen the light bulb goes on.” The MiniClinics are a great way to get personal attention as well as eves-drop on sessions with other singers; you will be amazed at what YOU will learn just by watching THEM learn.

Q: What about the Evening Karaoke?
A: At 5:00 we take a dinner break, and return at 7:00 for a fun evening of Karaoke where you will apply what has be learned during the day. Each participant will perform several songs during the evening and receive ritten critiques from the other attendees with suggestions as to what they feel has been improved, what still might need improvement, and suggestions for how. Renee will also give vocal critiques and help throughout the evening. We encourage you to invite friends and family to come to the Evening Karaoke 7:00-????. (Karaoke participation is optional)

Q: Where will the MiniClinic be held?
A:
The MiniClinics will be held at the ProVoice studio hich is located on Second Avenue North, downtown Nashville, Tennessee. -----Local Hotels

"I was able to see many different levels of the techniques used and how it affected overall performance." —Tommy Shane Steiner (former RCA recording artist)

Q: What does all this cost?

MiniClinic Comments

"Throughout my years of training with numerous vocal coaches none have been more helpful than Renee during the day long MiniClinic. In just a few hours I felt like I had improved techniques I worked years to try and master. Renee's obvious knowledge for training and the fun group setting gave me that confidence and ability to perform the way I'd always wanted too. I never knew it could be so easy!"—Ashley England (September 2008)

“By the time we were finished with that lesson/song I could hear myself sounding more relaxed and not so average after all. The coolest thing though, for me, is that what I learned made me sound much better to my own ear; I feel more confident because of that and less likely to be nervous next time I sing in public. Getting to work with you was a pleasure. Thank you for
providing such a great experience!”—Hallie Haas
(November 2008/March 2009/May 2009/July 2009/ October 2009)

"Renee's comment during our session, saying that I have developed my own sound, really hit home. It's a moment I'll never forget."Erica Leigh Camburn (September 2008)

I wanted to thank you and Renee for a fantastic experience at the Mini- clinic this past Saturday, March 7th.  I had a wonderful time getting  to know Renee and the other participants and working hard on my  songs.  She gave me some great advice and now I am working to  implement her suggestions.  'think Dolly'.......  : )
