Renee Grant Williams, My Voice Coach

Shameless Self-Promotion!
Are you ready for it? If you want to have a successful career, you'd better be. Media exposure is not simply a by-product of success. It defines success! The media interviews you do will play a major role in getting you to the top, and will determine how long you stay there. They can make or break your career.

You must understand how to communicate through the various media outlets with ease and comfort, and learn the skills that make the public want to see and hear more of you. Whether you’re an author or a recording artist, you have got to become media-friendly.

Here’s what you can learn with Renee that will ensure you turn every media interview into a well-crafted performance.

Wouldn’t you like to know:
How TV, radio, and print interviews differ.
What to ask before doing a media interview.
What a guest’s main responsibility should be.
How to keep your wits about you.

How to make sure you cover what you came for.
How to speak with emphasis and conviction.
What you can you do to get invited back.

And much, much more, including: How to keep from sounding like an idiot. And how to stay out of trouble.

Renee has been interviewed by the press, including Cosmopolitan, TV Guide, Business Week, Southern Living, Mix Magazine, the Associated Press, UPI, the Chicago Tribune, the Boston Globe, and the San Francisco Chronicle. Hundreds of radio interviews include NPR, BBC, Voice of America. She has appeared on many television outlets including ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, Bravo, USA, MTV, GAC, BBC, and PBS.

A performing background as well as experience as sales director, published author, and voice coach have put her in the media hot-seat many times. She will show you what the various media want from you, as well as how to get what you need from them.

Renee has been a guest lecturer in Media Training at Belmont University and at the Middle Tennessee State University. She created and teaches a public speaking course for the Barnes & Noble Online University. Her book, Voice Power: Using Your Voice to Captivate, Persuade and Command Attention, was endorsed by Paul Harvey and chosen as one of the best business books of the year by Executive Summaries.

Renee offers private media training in the studio she maintains in historic downtown Nashville. The fee for a one hour session is $220. To schedule with Renee call 615-244-3280 or e-mail Elaine@MyVoiceCoach.com.
